That does not surprise me. I wouldn't buy a Benz all Electric that looks like a small mini van.
Thanks for the article....I will see less of them at charging stations and know why :)
Wait, you've seen one? I thought they were just urban legend.

MB has a range of electric vehicles planned. This one was more a one-off. So not surprising it's being killed.

I have seen one. Maybe more but it's not distinctive body, making it easy to miss unless the HOV stickers catch your eye.

I saw one during my visit to CA earlier this month. Literally, it looks like a mini-minivan.

I spoke to a B-class (what a stupid name btw. It's like MB already admitted it was a sub-par product from the get-go) lessee in MD earlier this year, and he said he would strongly consider a Bolt when his lease was up.

Saw one at a Drive Electric Week event. It was a short-range compliance car. A fair number of the attendees tried it. The dealership didn't bring a B-Class last year and at least one person had hoped to try it.

But Mercedes has the smart ED which is probably a cheaper way to compliance.

Yeah, consider this the Zune of the auto industry. Seriously how many of these were sold? I've never seen one in real life.

I've seen a few around. It is nice for a compliance car, but MB never had its act together on it. And what marketing genius would name a car "ED"? (Cue Elemental.)

Both seen them and driven them! Not a bad car but not worth the price...
Maybe there are some heavily discounts to be found on remaining stock.

I think once Mercedes realized the Bolt was real, they just went "F it", gave up on the B-class ED, and went back to the drawing board.

Elemental has been MIA for almost a year now, with an occasional cameo appearance after prodding via email, he's now driving an ELR in style, traveling the world for work, so no time for us. Apparently, his previous job was driving him crazy (the hated it so much) which is why he was always lurking for the oppotunity to entertain.

I miss the dude, he's shelled out some zingers over the years in ways that only he could do.
