During my third week I hit 50 miles of EV range. I think if you put it in drive on long downhills it appears to improve range versus having it in low and slightly pedaling it. Any thoughts?

My understanding is that you can use cruise control to maintain efficiency in low so that you do not have to feather the pedal.

Yes to both. I find driving in D better if I want to "coast" on the HW in hilly areas and Cruise control if I want constant speed. I use the up/down lever to keep good distance while in CC on flats, but use D and coasting when in rolling hilly regions. Then I can coast a bit above speed limit and keep momentup for going up the other side of the hill.
