I absolutely love my Volt but how to I get my "report card" score up? It ALWAYS starts way in the negative and I drive like a kitten and can't get a high score? Whats the point?
Precondition the car 25 minutes before you use it. But if your weather is really cold, tough luck.

My highest score was 11.8 and I only have picture of a high score of 6.1. When warm spring days come, I'll be prepared to take another good pic of a high score.

My highest score for technique was 4.7, and when the terrain is all downhill, it was 3.8, and the temperature was also was 3.3 that was during the warm days of fall season. My technique never go below 3.0

When you precondition 25 minutes before you use it, and you're still plugged in, it helps with the starting score for your outside temperature.

This entire winter, I just regularly get 2.9

It would help us if you told us where you live. Remember the Volt's electric range is impacted by the THREE T's - Temperture, Terrain and Technique.

If you live in a northern tier state or a mountainous state your electric range won't be as good as someone who lives in warmer and flatter states.
