I wish the IL rebate would come back, but the state pensions and budgets are in shambles, we've had 3 years without a budget, so I think we have a snowball's chance in ....

I'm still trying to find details. Have seen no word on this on the TX program website:

The program previously ran from May 2014 to June 2015, and was terminated before funds ran out.
I missed the program by 5 days buying Volt in 2014, but did receive $2500 (taxable income) in 2015 on the purchase of my wife's C-Max.

Oh.. this would be great. I am meeting with Chevy dealer on Monday to check out the new Volt and the new Chevy Cruise diesel.
I can ask if they know anything about the EV rebate in TX. The rebate could push people (including myself) towards Volt or Bolt or other EV cars.
