I agree - most such proposals on the internet are total scams to get free advertising. I can't tell you how many of my friends have shared adverts saying they have 250 iPads to giveaway, etc.. It is total BS.

Recently I was at Fair Park for EarthDay and they had two Chevy Volts on display. A nice looking lady approached me and asked if I'd like to sign up for a chance to win a free Chevy Volt. I looked at her very sternly and said, "What company do you work for, what does your company actually do?" Her reply was "We give away free Chevy Volts." I looked back at her and said, "Well, that sounds like a really good and profitable business plan, buying cars and giving them away. I suspect you're real motive is to get my personal information so you can sell it to advertisers and scam artists who will be blowing up my phone trying to offer me more 'free stuff' and the Volts will probably never be given away to anyone except maybe one of your own staff." All she could do is smile. She knew I was telling the truth.

I assure you this is real and just a fun thing I would think you Volt owners would enjoy. I have been a forum member here for a long time and don't want to ruin my reputation here. So that being said I hope that you will enjoy this little give away. As far as not being able to see the topic completely I can see it on my computer including the ending date. My guess is you are not using a computer. Maybe you are using an Ipad or a phone to surf the thread and I have no control how that shows up on those items.
