Some older EVSE were replaced, at GM's expense, under the Voltec warranty by mistake. GM has since clarified that the OE EVSE is only covered by the 36/36 BTB warranty. Further confusing the EVSE warranty issue is that the original Gen 1 EVSE, manufactured by Lear, the one with the orange power cord were replaced under a manufacturer's recall notice as the Lear EVSE would overheat.
Level 1 Charger stopped working. Plz Help
So, unfortunately, my level one charger failed on me last week and refused to charge anymore, this charger is covered only under the B2B 36k mile warranty. The thing is that I currently have 61k miles on my gen 2 and it is out of warranty. What are my options?
