So my lease is up in a few months and the only damage on the car is from where some dumba** in a big F350 was taking up 3/4 of the road in my neighborhood. He wasn't stopping or moving so I had to dart off the side of the road. it was dark and rainy and my passenger side mirror clipped a mailbox. The LED turn signal in the mirror still works, but the clear plastic lense is cracked.

Looking on GM parts websites, looks like it is not sold seperately I'd have to get the whole mirror. Does anyone know if this piece is available elsewhere?

If I remember someone was asking about this a while back and at the time it seemed like the only part is the whole assembly.

Someone else may have a different answer now.

On the other hand, there is a current thread about a totaled Volt. Maybe that guy is parting it out?

You have to buy the whole assembly. However, I suspect you could get the entire mirror assembly on ebay and dissemble it for the piece you want.

I'd check eBay or your local salvage yard(s) before buying new. Good luck.

Well oddly enough the day after making this post Ally sent my return car info pamphlet. If I'm reading the paperwork correctly, it says as long as the cracks on the lense is less than 2" it's not considered "heavy wear" and won't incur additional charges. My turn signal on the mirror is cracked vertically, and since the lense is only 1.5" high its under that 2" mark :)

I think I'm just going to press my luck and see what happens.

I'd photograph it next to a ruler, though. Just for backup....
