Last Bolt EV smuggled out of the People's Republic of South California?

I believe I'm the owner of the very last Bolt to make it past the California export embargo. It's a Silver Premier that I purchased from Rydell two weeks ago while it was still in transit. It's been sitting on their lot for the last week waiting for a shipper who's daring enough to brave all the winter storms we've been having and deliver it to Salt Lake City. I just got word that it's finally being loaded up on a truck today and should be here by Friday.

So I think I'm the last person to get one out of California and maybe the first to get one here in Utah. Does anyone know anything otherwise?

You may be the last Bolt smuggler! Last person I heard "smuggle" a Bolt out just had theirs delivered to Georgia a few days ago. I believe I was one of the first smugglers with my MD Bolt. :p

Bolt smugglers unite! We should start a group on Voltstats. :D
I would think that if the sale is complete there is nothing GM can do. (Presumably, Rydell is not sending it C.O.D.)
They can't unilaterally undo the sale.
Nor would they want to. A dealer undo a sale already in the books? HA!
On a side note, I am really tempted to take my Bolt down to DC during the press event at the DC Auto Show tomorrow, park it with the test drive Bolts they probably will have there, and then go "Hey *random GM exec*, look at me in my MD Bolt! Screw your rollout plan!" when they come out to do the test drives, and just drive away blasting Sabotage by the Beastie Boys.
The question is how much the local "smuggled to" dealer would protest to GM about it, and would GM actually cut RYdell's allotment of Bolts by one for each one smuggled out?
Why would a local dealer care? Not like they could have made the sale instead. Protest a future sale they would have probably never made anyways?

Local dealer would probably only be happy, since it's an extra car to service in their area, and they would also be able to check out a Bolt before it officially lands in their market.

"The Bolt Smugglers" group has been created on Boltstats! Join up guys! Only condition is you can't be a CA/OR resident. :p

Aren't Bolts available in MD yet? There are several available in VA. I am going this weekend to check one out.
Better double check with that VA dealer in if they are on the lot.
What the heck! You already passed me! That was quick.

I told ya I was up by your place today... 222 miles today, almost 200 the day before... tomorrow easy day, maybe 140 or so.
Hit any DCFC sites?
Damn it, I am back in last place.

I am encouraged to see The Bolt Smugglers outnumber the Oregon Bolt owners 3-0. Guess OR folk don't care about this Voltstat stuff. :p
what do you guys do for parts and servicing, out of state?
I go to one of the 20 Bolt certified dealers within 50 miles of me.

So ... there are certified dealers who don't sell them??
Need to get certified before you can sell/service them?
Need to get certified before you can sell/service them?
If there are dealers within 50 miles, why 'smuggle' one across borders, sorry I am not following this?
Because when I reserved my CA Bolt, no one had any clue when they would be released in my state.
