Guessing I can't name the dealer so PM me if you want to know; I get nothing for this for the record, just sharing a good deal...In fact I have leased two vehicles from them and both times I never step foot into a dealership, haggle over text/email, they'll send a courier to meet you at your convenience (work lunch for me) and will drive the car to your home, never need to step foot in the dealership...

Edit: Title changed back to the original because this was never intended to be an ad with a dealer I have zero experience with...

Absolutely no reason why you can not name the dealer if you wish!

Correct. The original post is not an ad from a dealer. It is from a forum member providing information. Winchipper posted an ad that I objected to. Either we are letting dealers post here without paying fees, or we are not allowing that to occur. I believe that the decision was made not to allow dealers to get free advertising space in the forum. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

EDIT: I was mistaken as WOT has pointed out to me. Keyes is a financial contributor to this forum and Winchipper has the right to post deals from time to time.

I've posted before and mods have removed the dealer name...And in this case this entire thread is butchered...

I'll post and maybe it'll be deleted, fleet manager Marci at Camino Real in DTLA will offer the Bolt EV at invoice...

Given hold backs and incentives, most dealers will be happy to sell at invoice. I think the fact we're seeing this so soon on the Bolt EV speaks well of GM's decision to concentrate the roll out first in CA and OR. Otherwise it would be too many buyers chasing too little inventory, and we'd see pricing even above MSRP. I paid MSRP for the Volt. First time I ever did that.

I'll give GM Marketing points here.

My only issue is that they said it would be 50 states, despite doing the exact same thing a year earlier for the Gen2 Volt. My usual backhanded compliment here, kudos overall to getting deliveries for 2016 but they shouldn't have announced a 50 state launch I do like the fact deliveries were to Fremont, Tesla's home turf.

There is never a 50 state roll out, as its just not possible numbers wise. Auto manufactures send the product to the markets with the most demand first. Now for the Volt and both generations and the Bolt, it maybe a bit more than typical, but without having 10,000 vehicles sitting in a pen, logistics is the reason to roll outs. The Bolt actually looks pretty close to typical, having most major markets in the first 4 months.

Yes, they are a sponsor. So is Rydell I believe. And as member you can post a buyer's version of sales and service at dealers you have interactions with. Facts are always helpful. :)

If anyone wants to post the name of a dealer they got a good deal at, I see no issue with that.

So did anyone actually cash in on the reported invoice pricing on Bolts from that dealership? They must be chasing some hefty end of year bonus to discount Bolts down to invoice.

Hey, that sounds great, but when I called, a salesman said you would not lease one to me as I need it shipped to TX. Is that true?
Yeah, GM is only leasing Bolts to CA and OR residents currently.

Yes @Steverino, we are a proud sponsor of the GM-Volt forum and we thank you and your team for allowing us the opportunity to do so!

I'd also like to share that at Rydell Chevrolet, we are discounting ALL of our 90+ currently in transit 2017 Bolt EV $1,000 back of MSRP through 01/09/2017!

CLICK HERE for 2017 Bolt EV INVENTORY
I spoke with a salesperson today at Rydell and was told no Bolts for several weeks, no pricing information, no policy on pricing as well as no ordering and no use in talking with them for several weeks.

In there defense, and as I stated in another post I have zero experience with Rydell and do request the title name be changed for that reason, I wonder if there's a specific group of salesmen we're supposed to talk to? AKA the person or people who are posting under their name on here? Many reports of someone promising a deal the call the same dealership, don't get offered the same deal but come to find out they never dealt with the right dept...

They are only supposed to get 16 Bolts before the end of the year, and all of those might already be reserved. It could very well be another several weeks before their next shipment arrives.

I'd PM the Rydell rep on the forum and get clarification. You could also take this post to the dealership if its in close proximity to you and ask to speak to a sales manager. A salesman might give bogus information to try to get you looking at a different more profitable vehicle for them. By speakeing to a sales manager, you might get lucky find out if there any loose bolts are not reserved. Good luck.

They should then give #17 (or the next in the queue) to Kelly with a deposit and put in writing $1000 off MSRP...

I'm going to change my title back, mods are welcome to PM me if there's an issue with it but as I stated I have ZERO experience with Rydell so saying I do is extremely misleading...

Thank you to everyone who chimed in with feedback and/or questions about our pricing! Also, thank you @Bacardi, your headline wasn't necessarily a shout-out but it helps share our up-front pricing with everyone and save them some money! Thank you.

I can assure you that our $1,000 discount off MSRP is applied on every Bolt EV, every day through 01/09/2017, for every customer. We take pride in our hassle free shopping process and I am sorry if I was not clear about the pricing.

I am also happy to announce that our very first shipment of 2017 Bolt EV has finally arrived! We have 12 here however, 10 of them are already spoken for which leaves us with 2 available for a test drive and purchase!

Stock # 171953 - LT - Summit White -- MSRP $37,495
Stock # 171945SO - LT - Mosaic Black -- MSRP $39,295 (Driver Confidence Pkg, Comfort and Convenience Pkg, DC Fast Charging)

Store Hours:
