I was reading this article about the Hyundai Kona Electric

https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2019-hyundai-kona-electric-suv

and at the bottom was a link to some for sale near me.

$20k for new sounds like affordable is really here.

if you have a keen eye, you'll notice Hyundai is already including the Kona Electric in its TV ads. At the end of each commercial they show the entire line-up of SUVs, and it's all the way on the far right.
Something Chevy "marketing" has a difficult time doing for some reason.
The Kona Electric won’t arrive at US dealers until next year and pricing has not been revealed.

I just wrote a review of it:

Hyundai’s Kona EV one-ups the Chevy Bolt EV, except…

Note that aerodynamic drag coefficient can vary based on test method, test facility. It's hard to compare one car to another even whithin the same brand.

"Plans call for the US marketed Kona EV to appear first in California and then in the dozen or so states that track California’s emission standards."

So, a limited availability compliance car. One that would not be available here in Illinois.
