According to video the range with 64kWh pack was 301 same as Niro but that has been downgraded to 282. I like it better than Niro or Kona from looks and a packaging perspective. Nice looking interior. Video is less than five minutes, no test drive, this is just what is at the show

Since a Bolt is 240mi WLTP and 238mi EPA, the KIA Soul should have level WLTP/EPA numbers.
So expect maybe 298 miles EPA out of the Soul.

The Niro did not fare as well, but did submit numbers to the EPA of 239 miles. Suspicious numbers? Hyundai (Kia's parent) has been fined by the US and others for exaggerating specifications of economy with their cars.

Given how variable EV mileage is, I wouldn't count on consistently getting 300 miles in any of the upcoming Hyundai/KIA EV products. However, you should rarely see less 200 miles per charge in most real-world scenarios (including highway trips).
