Well, the Private offers start popping up after the middle if the month.... put us to work for you.I just reserved my Bolt EV.... I'm hoping I can come up with some additional rebates before I actually sign the papers.
I didn't configure it. This is the dealer's configuration, but it was the closest to what I was looking for.Congrats...I was under the impression C2 could not be ordered on the LT, ordering guide states: "The Driver Confidence II Package is available on the Premier trim and requires the Infotainment package."...May want to double check with your dealer...
Thanks! I think that if I start to build one on their site, I should see one pop up... hopefully.Well, the Private offers start popping up after the middle if the month.... put us to work for you.
Put up a post that you're looking for a PO and we'll get to work for you.
Yes. The dealership I'm going through requested only DCFC equipped vehicles for the first delivery.Congrats on your reservation!
Did you get the DC charging option? I think that the future resale value of Bolts will take a big hit if they don't have that, plus it really is necessary for intercity trips as well as quite handy to have around town if you need to do some unexpected driving.
That's a smart dealer. Hopefully all dealers will see GM's folly and will order all cars with the CCS port.Yes. The dealership I'm going through requested only DCFC equipped vehicles for the first delivery.
All about avoiding disappointing; again what your dealer claiming goes against everything...Your best case scenario is receiving a LT C1 without C2...Worst case, "your" Bolt will be a Premier with C1/info package/C2...Yet if your dealer got this detail wrong, what else could he be wrong about? I'd strongly recommend showing him the ordering guide to get to the bottom of this unless you okay with either configuration above...If only they made DCFC/C1/C2 standard...I didn't configure it. Is it possible that dealers have access to options that aren't available to individuals on the ordering guide? Though, to your point about it being possibly being a Premier, it did have a seat/interior color configuration that I could only get if I set up a Premier. Hey, if it turns out to be a "Premier LT," I'm not complaining for $38,000 OTD.All about avoiding disappointing; again what your dealer claiming goes against everything...Your best case scenario is receiving a LT C1 without C2...Worst case, "your" Bolt will be a Premier with C1/info package/C2...Yet if your dealer got this detail wrong, what else could he be wrong about? Yup! It's POSSIBLE the vehicle you ordered will end up being the first Vette E-Ray with AWD, sub 2 second 0-60 with super cruise! It's also possible that if a Premier was ordered by mistake you're not getting it for $38K without a lengthy court battle...Is it possible that dealers have access to options that aren't available to individuals on the ordering guide?.
We'll i wouldn't say it goes against everything, becuase you can build an LT with C1/C2All about avoiding disappointing; again what your dealer claiming goes against everything...Your best case scenario is receiving a LT C1 without C2...Worst case, "your" Bolt will be a Premier with C1/info package/C2...Yet if your dealer got this detail wrong, what else could he be wrong about? I have not been able to find a private offer, trying off and on for the past few days. Do I need to wait for mid-month? Any help would be appreciated.Well, the Private offers start popping up after the middle if the month.... put us to work for you.

Good points! We'll i wouldn't say it goes against everything, becuase you can build an LT with C1/C2One can only dream that they offer these configuarations.
It's like you said, it is more likely that he'll get a premier instead of an LT based on the ordering guide. But the final negotiations will be interesting. Hopefully, the dealer keeps his word or stays close to agreed upon price. You offer good advice to get infront of this and go talk to them ahead of time so there aren't any big disappointments/surprises at closing.
That explains it...There are basically 3 Driver Confidence Packages, only one offered for the LT and C1/C2 for the Premier...C2 add auto braking which is the biggie and often offers an insurance discount as it's been reported by a few on there a C2 equipped Volt is cheaper to insure than a LT Volt despite about a $5K increase in price...So this could also just be my not understanding what C1/C2 actually are. What I was told is it was order with the Driver Confidence Package and the Comfort and Convenience Package. Is there a difference?

Ok, so that's kind of confusing. On the dealer's system, the packages appeared as C1/C2. After researching it more, it looks like the basic Driver Confidence Package is optional on the LT and standard on the Premier. And then the Driver Confidence Package II is an option on the Premier. Mystery solved.Good points!

I thought private offer was only good on 2016's ? Could be wrong .I have not been able to find a private offer, trying off and on for the past few days. Do I need to wait for mid-month? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I tried a number of 2016 models also (my understanding is that the private offers are transferable to other models), but none ever popped up. Maybe GM/Chevy does not do this anymore for any of their cars?

Thanks for the suggestion. However, Bolt does not appear on the CA Farm Bureau's list of eligible Chevy vehicles. At least not yet.Join your states farm bureau! Instant $500 off a Chevy for a ~$60 fee. Just need to wait 30 days after joining to get the certificate.
