My current Volt lease is up in June, and I am in the September (All States) locations. Are any dealers still selling across state lines? I saw this practice was discouraged, but I am going to have to make a decision soon - used Volt for the time being or buy a Bolt.

No one fully knows the rules...It seemed in the beginning GM sent warnings to dealers to stop selling Bolts to CUSTOMERS out of state which included selling to customer living in other states where the Bolt EV was sold...Example: Bolt launched and CA and OR, if you lived in OR and couldn't find a deal but found a deal in CA, you couldn't buy one...
Most people including Henry_FL, who live in states that do not have the Bolt EV purchase from a same state DEALER...Our best guess is there isn't a rule (or active enforcement) of either dealership to dealership sales or swaps...With all that being said, we also haven't seen any dealership reporting some any sort of penalty for selling out of state...We have no idea what the enforcement is and now that there isn't let's go with Model 3 type of demand, GM may have relaxed enforcement or for all know encourage dealership to do dealer to dealer sales/swaps...
Perhaps Henry_FL or Bro can report the CA dealers who are actively selling/swapping to out of state dealers...
