I know a lot of people were excited by the Jaguar I-Pace. The good news is that it will debut in early 2018. That has to be a surprise since there was some question about whether it would ship at all. http://www.forbes.com/sites/johnmcc...ld-with-shocking-new-2018-entry/#5b021b1b3bf3 Should be a solid car. Tata has done some nice work with Jaguar and Magna Steyer is a top notch manufacturer. Uses LG Chem cells BTW.

Won't have a ton of more utility than the Bolt EV but it will have style, and 300 miles of range is really a lot more than 238 in that it makes some marginal trips doable.

The article said 220 miles of range. How did you get 300? Anyone know how much the I-PACE will cost? The good news is that this can't possibly leak fluids like the old Jaguars were famous for, well at least not motor oil, who knows, there might be antifreeze, power steering, brake fluid, etc. so the race is on. Faraday and Jaguar are ahootimg for 2018. Who else?

I believe Car Magazine UK projected a 50k pounds + base price which would include UK VAT. I would expect USA price to be $50-60k for base.
It is supposed to be a smaller size than Model X.
If it really is $50-60K, I'm interested.

Jaguar's styling has always impressed me as being 100% opposite of Toyota's eye-sore design language. But keep in mind a concept car rarely lasts through the production redesign process. :(

Still, this one could be a contender. Someday.

I submitted a web form on tec Jag website and a dealer contacted me asking if I might be interested in getting a car today since it won't be available until the end of 2018.

As for styling, this is one of Jaguar's low-lites

Do you know if Cadillac will make an ELR Gen2? I want to get my wife first EV or EREV in the Luxury Class. By 2020 I'll be ready to get another vehicle so there's plenty options by then. Thanks.
