I have it. Wonderful color. Not exactly white in the truest sense, but anyone that looks at the car will say, "That car is white" It is just a really pretty white (not a plain white by any means) you would not be disappointed in any way. Looks great with the windows tinted.Hello,
Just wondering if anyone out there has a newer volt with the premium paint (Iridescent Pearl tricoat)? How does it look? Does it look yellowy like the ole pearl trucks and Cadillac's? Looking at getting one in this colour.
My 2016 has no such issuesWarning - brake dust (rusty red specks imbedded in the topcoat) really shows on white pain. My Volt had a similar color in Diamond White Tricoat and while it's beautiful paint at winter's end the tail of the car had countless specks that don't wash off.
Late model GM vehicles have coated rotors that are not supposed to dust but I'd be very leery of paying for a premium white paint.
You can find some pictures of my 2016 Volt here - its color is Iridescent Pearl tricoat. As you can see, in bright sunlight it looks like white but does have a 'twinkle' to it because of tricoat.Hello,

Same here clean as it can be (after washing it)My 2016 has no such issues
My old Volt was the tricoat (pearl) and when I found the only way to get the brandy interior with a Premier was to go with pearl again, I started looking. Found one about 4 hours away and it had adaptive cruise, but I lost a couple days due to emailing and missed out and had to go withr cajun red, w/o cruise. I could have still had adaptive cruise, but didn't want to settle for black. The new Volt's Pearl White is a true pearl white with no yellow at all. Lovely. It was my color choice but couldn't get it at the time so I went with black which I will never go with again lol
