I think I just got a glimpse of the future of General Motors.

That means lots of electrified vehicles. Monday I walked onto the lot of my local Los Angeles Chevy dealer, Rydell Chevrolet, and was pleasantly surprised. OK, shocked. I don't say that lightly because I go to Rydell often (I leased my 2013 Chevy Volt there) and have seen it evolve into one of the largest Volt dealers in the U.S.

The interesting thing is they're saying Rydell is the future of dealerships, where EVs will outnumber ICE on the lots...

Yet the really interesting thing, is it just inevitable that the franchised dealership model will just go away? Even many of the die hard GM fans on here have stated they'd prefer to be able to pre-order with GM directly...And then many predict a sharp decline in vehicle ownership once you can hail an autonomous vehicle for a ride...

Rydell website shows 18 Bolts on the lot with another 69 in Transit. That's a lot of vehicles for one dealership!. The January Bolt Sales will be very interesting!!

Keys website shows 41 Bolts on the lot with another 50 in Transit.
