I am a natural born minimalist. I love simple items that are built with real quality; reminiscent of early American manufacturing.

Remember the "Flying gas can" of world war II. I am interested in the "Fly battery pack" version of the Volt; a simple, cost sensitive version of the volt. Remove the crap that drags the price above $20k. Bring the price down to the price the average blue collar worker can afford.

Umm... Not really what he was thinking about I don't think. Zap just sells golf carts for the road, not real cars. I think he's thinking of a Volt with crank up windows, no AC, manual steering, no radio, no special navigation or displays, no power door locks/remote/alarm system, maybe no heater, etc. Unfortunately, even with it striped down, I don't think GM could meet the price point he's hoping for. The battery and new technology just costs too much.
