Page 129 of 2017 Owners Manual
The "Technique" bar on this display combines both driver technique and vehicle speed. As such it will always show poorly when maintaining speed on the Interstate and many other secondary roads.
Recommendation:
Split this bar into two bars:
Technique: Base this solely on how the vehicle is being driven
Speed: base this on speed. It appears to be a "negative" only option similar to Climate Settings
=========
As currently designed, someone trying to learn how to drive efficiently can't tell if the issue is the 65 MPH speed limit they have to exceed to remain with the flow of traffic or if it's because they're accelerating and braking too hard.
I understand this change may require redesigning this display (most likely turning it vertical) but that's ok. Vertical bar graphs are just as easy to read as horizontal bar graphs.
