I sent my leased 2011 Chevrolet Volt back two years ago. I have been awaiting the arrival of the 2016's. My 2011 served me well. Not even a peep of trouble. I only use the car for around town as it is an extra vehicle. I had 16,000 miles on it when I sent it back. I will be buying my 2016 in blue. I'll keep everyone posted on how it runs in relation to my 2011.

You'll love the '16. I surely do. It's a major difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2. I also chose the Kinetic Blue Premier. The interior "blue" details (stitiching, blue gear shift knob) become even more awesome at night with the illuminated blue "spear" on the front doors and the blue door handles. It drives well, feels smoother, is quicker, and is pretty well thought out. It's just got to be mind-blowing for someone who never had a Gen 1 and now get into a Gen 2.

I'm also keeping my Gen 1--33K at 21 months, and no issues.
