2017 Premier with illuminated charging port. When I open the port door, the green light turns on (steady green). During charging it flashes; 1,2,3, or 4 green flashes, depending on charging status (as does my dash indicator light). When fully charged, the port goes black (the charge indicator light on the dash, however goes steady green). Is this correct, or should the charging port also show a steady green light? Thanks for your help! I'm just curious after reading threads about charging etiquette.

I believe this is correct. With charging feedback enabled for your car, the illuminated charge port will stay lit for a few minutes when charge completes then extinguish.

I personally turned if off cause I hated the additional blinking at night.

The light stays on for 6 seconds while the system initializes and then will begin to flash to indicate charge status.

Initial – Light On
0-25% – 1 Blink
25-50% – 2 Blinks
50-75% – 3 Blinks
75-100% – 4 Blinks
100% – Light Off

When the charge cord is unplugged after a complete, or partial charge event, the light will turn on for 60 seconds.
