I put money down today to get my Bolt! Premier Kinetic Blue with Dark Galvanized Grey interior! I got the Upgraded infotainment and the Drivers Confidence package too! So loaded!!

My Dealer said they still had 3 cars left in their allotment and expect my car to be delivered around the end of April, start of May!

So needless to say I'm pumped! BUT I have one question that maybe someone on the forum might know. I was going over the standard features when I got home and I saw this listed: Glass, solar absorbing windshield. What's that supposed to mean? Does my windshield have Solar Powers?!?

Volt has solar absorbing glass too.
It's a fancy way to say factory tint is 70% and it blocks certain wavelengths of light.

Most people don't realize it's tinted unless they know to look for it.

Yes all the reviews have been glowing for the most part. The test drive sealed the deal as they say! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. It's just the waiting now and it feels like it's going to take forever!! LoL

Congrats. I've noticed that my Bolt EV collects a lot of solar energy. I think I'm going to need some additional tint before summer.

I purchased a Red Premier Bolt EV a few weeks ago, and had the windows tinted. I think it looks pretty good.
