Hi,

Has anyone discovered a way in the Gen 2 to disable the lowering of the HVAC fan speed when a phone call is received? I reviewed the settings and options and couldn't find anything.

Thanks,

I too wish I could find a way to suspend that "feature" as I have received far too many calls right after I get into a boiling car and want the AC left alone.

Thats only when a call comes in you can still turn the fan up.
Agree this is quite annoying when it's hot or cold out. The concept is great, but it's over kill. You can turn the fan back up, but it never reaches the same level. This feature ought to go away, and if you can't hear a call, you can manually turn down the fan.

If the HVAC fan speed has been set manually will an incoming phone call still low the fan speed?

I believe so. I turned the fan up all the way today, set it to max, and then received a call via Bluetooth. The fan speed went way down.
Thanks. I don't mind when the fan speed lowers during phone calls. I precondition my Volt summer and winter so the cabin is already comfortable when I get in the Volt.

On my Gen 1 it drops the AC fan to a lower setting when I place a call. I just tap the up (increase fan) button and it goes back to the higher speed setting, sort of canceling the "quiet mode for making a call" that it goes into automatically when making a call.

I have never owned a vehicle with so many options and settings on it. I often wonder if the engineers had a little fun putting this car together?
