Former electrical and mechanical engineer (that's what they called those of us in uniform who fixed Canadian Forces trucks and weapons) now writing and directing films

I built a 105hp AC Li/Ion electric car with a Mazda RX-7 chassis, and am now hooked on electric propulsion.

A few things we should all keep in mind:

The scientist asks," Why does it work?"
The engineer asks, "How does it work?"
The accountant asks, "How much will it cost?"
The artist asks, "Do you want fries with that?"

The difference between mechanical engineers and civil engineers is that mechanical engineers build weapons, and civil engineers build targets.

You need only two tools in life; WD-40 and duck tape. If it doesn't move when it should, use the WD-40. If it moves when it shouldn't, use the duck tape.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical problem.
