I was driving in the left thru lane on the freeway today, with a HOV lane on the left. I knew I was coming to the point where the HOV lane ended, so I checked the mirror for a possible merger, and I saw a car coming. It was approaching pretty fast, but the first thing that went through my head was,"That looks like a Volt grille". It was. Anyways, story aside, how often do you see another Volt on the road? Since I ordered mine back in April, that is only the 3rd one I have seen. Or have noticed.

I see several a day. Lots in this area. I see a Tesla once every few weeks and it is usually the same one or two. I see an occasional Leaf. Never seen an i3 locally.

I see one almost every day. There are 3-5 in my town and a lot more in the Columbus area.

Now, I was surprised the other day to see a Leaf.

I see one or more almost every day here in Sarasota FL. There are also several Tesla's running around and even a few i3's. I have seen Leaf's too, but Volts are more common. I passed by three Volts today while I was out.

I see one every day before I get in. :)

Otherwise, I see another Volt about once a week in Baltimore. It's three different volts, one a silver in Locust Point. A white one in Federal Hill or near the casino. And another silver one commuting on I83 into the city.

Fairly often. There's two different white ones, at least one black and one other silver, and red one that show up in the neighborhood regularly. The transit company has a white one that I see once in a great while as well.

And the maniacal Model S. That guy's got a serious lead foot.

Hello.... I only see about one a week or less on the Fl east coast. Used to see alot more in 2013 and 2014. I am on the road almost 2 hrs every day. Maybe I am not looking as hard as i used too.
Saw one Gen2 2016 at the Dealer. Been thinking about doing a test drive of a Gen 2, and waste a salesman time for 30 minutes. They are down here

I see at least a handful of Gen 1 and Gen 2 Volts a day. I commute from Santa Cruz over to the Santa Clara Valley, so the Volt is pretty popular.

Volt owners were able to get single occupancy carpool lane stickers until they ran out at the end of 2015, so that added to the number of Volt owners in California. I don't have the carpool lane stickers, but there's talk that they may offer the stickers again, which will be valid through 2019.

Only 288 series 1 Volts made it to Australia, as far as I know, so they're rare here.

Since I purchased 2 Volts nearly a year ago, I've seen 4 individual Volts. We usually stop and exchange contact details.

I don't believe there are any series 2's here, as Australian's are required to drive on the correct side of the road, and a driver seated on the left would make it impractical and less safe.

I very seldom see a Gen 2 Volt on the streets here, and perhaps 1-2 Gen 1 Volt per week. LEAFs and Model Ss are everyday sightings, while the i3 is observed less frequently. Maybe the Gen 2 Volt is on the road during commuter time when I stay off the streets, so that may be why I don't see them.

In the Detroit area I see several (5-10) gen 1 Volts a day maybe 3-5 gen 2's a day. I'll see 1-2 Model S's a day about 1 i3 a week 1 i8 a month.

I've never seen another Volt. There are very few EVs in Massachusetts judging from the number of rebates that MA issues. MA has a $2500 rebate. They've only issued 140 rebates so far this year, they have funds allocated for 417 cars per year. Over the life of the program they've issued a total of 1733 rebates, thats for all EVs, that's not a lot for a population of 6.7 million people.

From 8,500 feet to 10,000 feet in Summit County, Colorado, an altitude so high that internal combustion engines have trouble finding enough oxygen to burn volatile gases, I often see five Teslas, two Volts, and one i3 in a day. Actually, the only i3 that I saw was stranded, out-of-charge, in a snowstorm with Texas plates because the owner over-estimated how many miles a charge carries a vehicle on the climb to 10,600 feet at the top of Vail Pass when the outdoor temperature is below-zero and a half-foot of fresh powder is increasing the forces against forward motion. I have also seen at least one all-electric Leaf and one Toyota RAV 4. By the way, the cute blonde woman in the blue 2017 Volt is welcome to come back up from Denver to Summit County any day.

It seems like more and more often now. The Gen 2 sightings are less frequent for sure but I actually saw one this morning.

You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a tesla though.

Well in about 1 week I should be cruising around all of DFW in my 2017 Heather Grey! Very excited. Haven't seen another Gen2 on the road in the wild. And I've only seen maybe 5 Gen1 volts on the road in the past few years.

I see one 3-5 times a week. Of course they are the same cars over and over. 1 Gen 2 has been sold locally and I haven't seen it on the street yet.

I'm in NE Pennsylvania and I only see 1 or 2 Volts a year... have yet to see a Gen 2. The only Tesla I see is when my son visits. Have never seen a BMW or Leaf. I get a lot of questions about my Volt but most folks around here are driving Pickups, SUV's and Subaru's. Love my Volt.
