When I cared, I spend about $30/month on charging. An unnoticeable blip on our electric consumption. With pool pump, electric dryer, electric water heater and HVAC, our consumption averages ~2,000kWh/month. Charging a 16kWh (12kWh actual) battery three times a week is nothing.
