I wouldn't pay extra just to get the Nav. My car has it because it has other options I wanted and it was heavily discounted. It's very costly to update the map data also. I use Waze on my phone all the time. It's free with almost real-time traffic. Plus it's map is always up-to-date. Recently, I've been trying out Apple CarPlay on a loaner car. It's really nice if you have an iPhone. However, Gen1 Volt doesn't have that feature. If I don't use a smartphone, I would just get a Garmin with lifetime map update and I'm all set.

Thanks, everyone. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a 2015 Premium Volt with all of the bells and whistles tomorrow!
Nice! You will enjoy the car! My car has been sitting at the dealership for more than 2 weeks waiting for parts. Even with a brand new 2017 Cruze loaner, I miss my Volt every day!!!
