77.7 miles, 2016 Volt Premier. Slow moving traffic nudged that figure above the high 60's. Normally 60-65 miles on 14.0-14.4 KWH of electricity, full charge, in summer. Winter, 45-50 miles. Speeds vary from 25 - 55 mph via Highway 101 along the Oregon coast.

56 miles and still showed 5 miles to battery depletion when I got back to the charging station at work. This was primarily on 55 and 65 MPH posted highways.

63 miles (53 miles highway driving, 10 miles local street driving) used 14.4 kwh. 7 miles ICE @ 47 mpg on highway for a total trip of 70 miles. July daytime temperatures were 90 - 95F. Climate control was set to 73F with AC on Max. To be fair there was a fair amount of stop and go traffic on the outbound trip on Interstate 95. Highway speed varied between 55 and 65 mph using ACC. I was not trying to see how far I could go using just the battery, I just let the Volt run in Normal mode on the battery until the Volt switched to ICE with about 7.2 miles left to go on the trip home. I did not carry any passengers or additional cargo load on this trip. Tires are the stock Michelin EnergySaver A/S with less than 10k miles, cold tire pressure ~ 38 psi. Gas tank was half full.

Heh, I honestly don't understand you people. My wife and I each have a 2017 (she loved mine so much she had to get one) and I typically get 49 while she gets about 47. Tires inflated to 40 with central California weather. I don't drive slow but I'm not a speed demon. Work is only 6 miiles away but I'll get up to 65 on the highway.

Still more than enough range for me though. Went to Oakland last month for Iron Maiden and that broke my 2500+ miles with no gas streak!

I don't think that really counts.
*shrug* Ari's is the highest we've seen without qualifications, so anything below that is just a matter of redefining until you get what you like. That is, it becomes a matter of setting conditions rather than actual range.

Just curious to see how far people have gone on battery before it kicked over to gas.

Not sure if its good or not, but I was able to get 68 actual miles out of my battery.
I drove it for 8,754 miles before the gas finally kicked in. Of course I have to recharge it multiple times during the whole trip. If you said how long for just one full charge, then it would be 87 miles.

IIRC, 82 miles by AriC is the current high mark. He drove around a very large parking lot.
That beats me and my GM BEV that is rated for 82 miles !

That was Gen 1. He got 114 miles out of his wife's 2016 on the same course.
Awesome !

Other than the qualification of having a touch of the OCD and a spare 5 hrs to drive ? 23 MPH .:D
Or maybe it can be called a hobby !!

Yeah I was thinking along this line too, it's not a well worded question.

If the OP is asking about "on one charge", the best I ever did was 42 on my Gen One (2013)
If he's asking "total distance traveled on electric alone" then I did 4,600 miles with charges on my work commute before I finally found myself in a "have to use gas" situation.

Ari has you beat here too. Last I knew, he had well over 25k miles without fuel for propulsion. But he also burns fuel for EMM/FMM with the car parked, so it doesn't count as miles. That's dedication (some call it craziness) but somebody has to do it in the interest of science.

The man is a legend. The wife and kids are saints for putting up with him. I am in awe. The only record I can hope to achieve is the worst number of miles per full charge (26.1 miles this morning).

Best I ever got in the Gen 2 was 84 miles, which was real world driving but mostly around-town with speed limits 35-45...
