Leave the car running, turn off the headlights. Just don't do that when parked in a closed garage. I do that all the time in extreme hot or cold temps to keep the AC or heater running while at the grocery store. You can lock the car so the car doesn't get stolen, but in my neighborhood, there are plenty of vehicles left running with the doors unlocked, so that big souped up 4 wheel drive would be a better target than my volt

How in the world do you get a 56GB family plan? That must cost a small fortune per month

Bot rollover is t' perpetual, it's a use it or lose it. so the one month you do blow through 50GB the next month you only have 30GB left.

also, it's probably not going to be easy to just power the LTE unit. you might be better off adding a portable hotspot as you'd have control of the power only need to power that hotspot, not necessarily the entire center console of the car.

The other issue, is doing this might degrade your 12v battery leaving you stranded someday. You might want to put a rechargeable batter like a Goal Zero into the cigarette-style power adapter, then plug the portable hotspot into the Goal Zero as well as have a solar panel on the dash to help keep everything charged even with the car off.
