Is there a way to wire the Hotspot to stay on. My family plan is 56gig, I was thinking about putting a Blink Camera, but I need the Hotspot to stay on. Any wiring experts?

With family pack, Gov discount, it's 30gig with rollover, my average is 50-60 gig each month. ATT, around & 171. MO total 🤣. I would not like leaving it on, then I couldn't pre condition.. 😁. I'd be willing to wire jump it I knew where to jump it.

Bot rollover is t' perpetual, it's a use it or lose it. so the one month you do blow through 50GB the next month you only have 30GB left.

also, it's probably not going to be easy to just power the LTE unit. you might be better off adding a portable hotspot as you'd have control of the power only need to power that hotspot, not necessarily the entire center console of the car.

The other issue, is doing this might degrade your 12v battery leaving you stranded someday. You might want to put a rechargeable batter like a Goal Zero into the cigarette-style power adapter, then plug the portable hotspot into the Goal Zero as well as have a solar panel on the dash to help keep everything charged even with the car off.
I NEVER used 30gig, so doubt I'd blow 50, the Blink only streams 30-60secs only when motion, I have 5 at the house and does not use that much data. I don't think the Hotspot would drain enough to in a 8-16 hr to do much, if so, as long as I knew where to tap in, I wire an aux. Battery, I just don't want to add a another Hotspot to my plan. When I have one, just need the wiring information ;)
