Honda made an announcement today that it would start selling the hybrid version of its popular Fit small car in early 2010. Expected hybrid premium will be about 2000 dollars. Also, it said a new hybrid proper model would become available early next year. Later in the same year a new sports hybrid model will also become available.

I am happy to hear Honda is expanding their green product offering beyond just the fuel cell vehicle. Again, more competition will spur more progress.
