I tought i would post some pictures of my 16' Volt mods: a hitch for my bike rack and black chevy emblem.
The hitch has been made to measure for my Volt, went to a hitch specialised place were they not only install factory made hitches, but are also equipped for make a hitch from scratch.

In these pictures, you will see:
1. Hitch from behind
2. Hitch from under the car
3. Hitch from under the board panel the is below the volt
4. Chevy blacked emblem

Where did you buy it from and get it installed by?

I had it built at a hitch shop just south of Montreal. The place is called: Attaches Bourdeau

Based on the picture, it does not look like the plates could be able to be bolted and mounted on the volt...
If you look at the PDF it shows how it is directly bolted to the frame. Not the simplest install I guess. Torklift is coming out with a similar one soon but I went ahead and ordered the Curt since its available and I want to use it soon.

I ordered on from etrailer.com for $118 shipped, they said it's a week wait since its brand new.

Ok just checked evrything, they remove the bumper and bolt it using the same mounting bolts. Interresting concept. Quite different than how they made and installed mine.

Thanks jjulien.

I ordered the Curt and it should be here today or tomorrow. I'll post pictures of the whole install once I am done. Mine was $142 on Amazon. Curt 114362.
