Great video. Now I'm drooling for an ELR again. I've always wanted one, but when the MSRP was announced at $75K in Oct 2013, I turned around and bought a brand new volt for $21K including tax credits, rebates, GM card, etc. if I could turn back time, I should have held out until 2015 and gotten a heavily discounted ELR then. It looks like Cadillac made only enough in 2016 to fulfill demand. There are so few of them left now, it's sure to be a collectors item. The real gem is the Saks 5th avenue edition with white diamond tricoat clocking in at $85K MSRP

Edit: whoa, I looked at prices on cars.com and $27k for a used one is looking really affordable. But no new ones to be found within 500 miles of my location.

Awesome car especially in that paint.

I agree with most of the vid except the wheels. I noticed that the initial comment was walked back since the two-tone is too subtle. I basically dislike wheels that look like a flower from a distance. 5-spoke are so overdone as well. The non-sport wheels are way more sophisticated in my opinion.

If I were a collector this particular car would be my choice. My REDD (her name is REDD) is pretty nice though.

carmax in columbus georgia has a 14 for 33k, not sure if its worth owning the 14 though.
Of course "it's worth owning." It's a fabulous car for $30,000. This crazy idea that the 2016 is so much more desirable than a 2014 is laughable. Because it goes to 60 one second faster? Don't make me laugh. If you want a fast car buy a -V or a Vette (a car that I traded on my Volt which I traded on my ELR). What's more, if you find a 2016 it might have the hideous Cascada wheels that make a beautiful ELR look like an econobox.

hotspur - thanks for pointing out the "Cascada wheels". GM has recycled that silly wheel design on another model which escapes my mind right now. Only feature I covet that's missing from my '14 ELR is the Kona leather seats.
