Hello from the Albany, NY, I am new to this group (I've been lurking for a while). I ordered my Volt from Northstar Chevrolet in October 2010 and my status has just been updated to 3000. Can someone tell me how long it will take until the car is deliverd to the dealer? Also, I am interested in connecting with other Volt owners in the Albany area.

I ordered my Volt on last Saturday 2/12/11 and it is already at 3000. Your dealer must not have had an open allocation as my dealer did. Maybe we will both get ours quicker than the others.
But I am not expecting any delivery before the beginning of May. Then if it should happen to get here early, then the plane ticket can be purchased and the dealer will have to wait till the next weekend for me to get there.

Mine went to 3000 on 2/9 and I've now been given a TPW (Target Production Week) of Feb 28th. They have to QC it and then ship it and so it looks like maybe mid-March for delivery. Based on this time line, you might be looking at delivery in 5 to 6 weeks. I would call and get your Volt Advisor soon.

Well, mine went to 3000 on 1/29/2011, 3400 on 2/2/2011, I have a TPW of 2/21/2011, and I don't expect in Amarillo, TX until the end of March.

MichaelH,

Mine went to 3400 on 1/26. The dealer said that the TPW was 2/14, but I haven't heard anything more so far. The dealer said that it might show up around 3/1 but, from what I'm seeing here, that seems pretty optimistic. I think you're probably closer to right on the time between production and delivery. I'll try to let you know what happens.

Hey Michael, why do you anticipate such a long wait from production to delivery? It seems production is ramping up and so the wait for railcar space is probably reduced and so it would seem reasonable that if you gave a week for QC and a week for shipping that early to mid-March might be reasonable. Just curious as to why you expect delivery would be done a month after production.

I noticed in my order information it says •E2C ORDER TO DELIVERY EXPEDITE TO CUSTOMER
what exactly does this mean?
Also I am getting cloth seats but it says •AFA Jet Black Cloth Interior/Black Accents
I thought the white accents where the only color. Doesnt matter either will be fine, just get me my Volt.

I have been upgraded to 3400 and have a TPW of 3/14/11. I also got a call from SPX to talk about charging options for my garage. I'm thinking the end of March before I have my Volt.
