Hey I have chevys first lovley fuel car the geo metro. My dad bought it in 92 and in high school when I drove it I used to get picked on by my friends. 10 years later they ask me do you still have that car. and the answer is yes. It sits in the garage cause Ialso have a saturn and a zx2 that get excellent milage but it still makes me think about how I could fill it up for 8 bucks and drive it for weeks. Im excited about this cause it looks like it is gonna be a bigger car which all us americans love. Why would you get a smart car? My zx2 gets better milage than that thing. Also just to prove a point. If everyone could not see this coming for years there nutz. Kingranch, denali, yukon, tahoe, durango, escalade and of course h2What happened to if ya need a truck get a custom deluxe. anywho take care

Welcome to the forums!

I agree with you, GM is making a good move basing this on a large-compact platform rather than a micro-compact platform that many other EVs have been using.

A simple analogy is how baseball teams are 'in the red' but somehow behind the scenes the owners are making a profit. One of the big undisclosed ways owners make profits are when the banks they own make the loans on new stadiums. The team might still lose ipods money, but the owner makes a kiiling (no pun intended) on interest.
