I live in FL and I rarely need to heat the car, but when I do, I notice the AC icon is on when the heater element icon is on, and it seems to stay on. There are plenty of posts about heating, but I haven't come across an answer. 2013 built in 12/12. Does the PIC5796 bulletin fix the issue, or is it an issue at all?

Mine did it plenty. But it didn’t interfere with the heat. Many occasions the air needs to be dried, too. The resistive element won’t do anything for humidity so the compressor cycles, too.
