A May 21 story from California about AFS Trinity's ultracap system includes comments from a University of California Davis research team suggesting the Volt's battery pack has not yet achieved the the 40 mile goal. Could someone working with the actual Volt battery packs respond?

Volt battery mule tests

Thanks for your comment. Yes I read the good news last week about the Volt's mule battery results here on GM-Volt and it looks very encouraging!

Maybe this California news story is uniformed and the mule's recent battery test results were unknown by the UC Davis researchers.

I'll trust Lyle inside info before someone that is not even close to the project.

One error in the Sac Bee article was the date of the first Earth Day. It was 1970, not 1971. We buried a car in a back field of our high school on that first Earth Day. A bit pre-mature, but it looks like the burial will be final in a few years.
