Can anyone check their hatch wiring boot, I needed to route a coax cable through there and should have payed more attention to how it was sealed before I pulled it out. Wondering if this looks right..can't tell if that lower lip is supposed to get tucked in or not.

Mine is a Gen 1, but the boot looks like it is the identical part, so I think it is relevant to your question. The way yours is installed looks just like mine with the same number of ridges visible outside of the body work. I think you have it in correctly.

I agree, it does look like it should tuck in, but it is definitely exposed on mine just like yours. There must be another lip that is hidden inside of the body work that forms the grommet around the hole in the body work. That is the important thing. The wiring should not be able to touch the metal rim of the hole in the body work.

Is that for a 2 meter antenna or another band, and how well does it perform there? I use a Motorola mobile (CDM1550-LS) for 2 meter and had the local Motorola shop install a whip in the center of the roof on my 2017 LT. I have been thinking about using one of those lip mounts for an additional radio.
