Has the Bolt been delayed? No.

The Bolt is no longer listed to configure on the Costco site and when I just reached out to request info, I was told by someone at Keyes that they won't have cars for two to three months which would mean early 2017. Surely they would get some of the first allotment. Is the car no longer arriving at dealers before the end of 2016?

In another thread I read, Costco kind of jumped the gun on the configuration site. I seriously doubt that anyone will get an actual retail Bolt delivered by Christmas. Fleets will probably get some before then.

Does this mean no Bolts or just no Bolts available for customers beyond depositors? I thought Keyes and others had a bunch lined up to arrive.

Surely, Trump's win didn't kill the Bolt THAT fast! :p
I think Keys is simply telling you that they might not be able to get you a Bolt EV for two or three months as the cars they have on route are likely already spoken for.

I also saw another post a couple days ago where someone claimed that their Bolt EV has been built and shipped and is on route to the dealer.
Costco dealer in Arizona told me end of 2nd quarter 2017.
As an added datapoint, Martin Chevy in Torrance, CA just told me they expect to have cars in December and not all cars allocated to them are preorders so cars will be available to test drive and purchase. I guess we'll see in a few weeks!
Probably just that demand has exceeded supply.
We have GM-Volt members with cars on the way for December delivery. Keyes may be sold out of their initial allotment.

HA, you fell for the oldest trick in the book. You believed what a car salesman said !

Where? Here, another auto forum site? I'd love to see a link.
Like the gen ii the Bolt will slowly sell and deliver starting in Cali and then moving its way through carb.

I don't expect many will see them this year

Politics may worsen this uptake rate to the outside world

When I contacted Rick at Keyes 3 weeks ago right before sending in my deposit, he said he had a handful of allocations left. Those last 5 allocations are undoubted all gone now. If Keyes hasn't received any new allocations, anyone trying to order one now may be waiting till Jan or Feb next year.
We'll be able to see if there were any November Bolt deliveries with the GM monthly sales report at the end of the month.
Not sure about deliveries since I'd expect some little ceremony about the "first" one. A little PR never hurts. GM said there would be deliveries before the end of the year and Bolt EVs in dealer showrooms, and this seems likely to be the case. Obviously production cars are available given all the "glowing" reviews we've seen.
According to an WSJ article today, the 1st vehicles will be delivered to CA and Oregon before the end of the year. For everyone else it just said "not widely available until the spring". Hopefully it will be available in my area by March, or I would have a lease end gap. I'll have to contact the dealer to check on ordering availability.
I can't speak for others, but my Bolt is supposed to be shipped by the end of November. I'm planning to followup before I leave for Thanksgiving, and I'll let you guys know if I've heard anything different.

I don't know how many Bolts Keyes is getting, but I was told the initial shipment to Rydell was 80 or so Bolts expected late November/early December.
I talked with a salesman at Rydell last week and he implied that about 80% of the 75 Bolts they expected were allocated. He also told me the salesmen will not get training until they actually receive their first cars.
