I see that a number of folks have had the opportunity now to see the 2017 Bolt in person at various shows across the USA. Is anyone aware of any in-person viewing opportunities in Canada? I suspect our ordering will open up fairly soon, and it would be nice to see a production car in front of me before signing on the dotted line.

Somebody in my neighborhood is driving a Bolt around. A few weeks ago at the CCS charger in Markham Ontario (Canada).

GM Canada has a handful (some are press cars). Our local EV group is trying to arrange a viewing. We are also trying to arrange a plant tour of Orion Assembly.

GM Canada brought an Orange Bolt EV to their last event at Queens Park. You can send a message to them and try to confirm if they will have the Bolt EV at one of their next events. Next Event is Taves Consumer Electronics Show October 28 to 30 and they will have some cars in attendance (not sure if the Bolt EV will be there).

Worst case scenario is you can put down a refundable deposit. And for sure GM Canada will have one at the Toronto Auto Show in mid-February (or go to the Detroit Auto Show which is mid-January).

GM had a pre-production Bolt at the Vancouver Auto show this past March, but it was on a rotating platform and a "look but don't touch" basis.

Bolt Canada

A Bolt was on display at a super autoshow in Mirabel near Montréal in early september. The car was lock but somme folks manage to gent it unlock by the gm rep. It was a gray base model clothes seat are very nice.

Sorry to hijack the thread (it prob doesn't deserve another question), however, are there any sites to check when there may be a Bolt showing in Florida??? Seeing how we prob won't be getting deliveries until 2017 and no dealership showings...it would be nice to see it in person once.

Thank you! This is the exact type of information I was hoping for. I've also already reached out to GM Canada on Twitter via DM to inquire. If they are able to provide any additional detail, i'll share here.

As for the deposit, already done thanks to your previous guidance.
