Hello all, I purchased a 2017 black volt with the comfort package. Liking the quietness and acceleration. Originally wanted a Bolt, but am extremely happy with the Volt.

Welcome to our forum. I agree with LLninja, the Volt is America's best kept secret. With our 2016 Volt with warmer spring weather current range on electric is 59 miles, since purchased new with over 15,000 miles, gas mpg, when running on the generator motor, is over 45 mpg.

So you have the best of both worlds, a fair amount of electric range and thats 100 % electric, and gas mpg's that rivals the best eco boxes out there. Also get yourself a 240 Volt charger and you can fully charge from empty to full in a little over 4 hours, and just plugging in for an hour will usually get you 10-12 miles or even more of range.

Already bought a 240 charger. I also have a free 240 volt charging station at my local shopping center. I seem to be the only one using the one of four stations.
