I'm surprised nobody said this yet, but happy belated thanksgiving. I'm thankful that I was able to buy a volt (heavily discounted) after drooling over my vehicle sitting at the dealership for many months. I'm also thankful for the many friends (and even a few enemies) that I have made on this forum, some who have had a challenging year with health, marriages, and careers. I too have had an interesting year where I'm about to lose the best job I've ever had, but will be embarking on a new adventure.

If you have been lurking and haven't pulled the trigger yet, may you find an awesome Black Friday deal and finally own one of America's best kept secrets.

And I'm going to beg GM ad nausium - please make a voltec Impala, equinox, Silverado, and suburban. Instead of having the volt, bolt, Malibu, ELR, and CT6 as specialty cars, we need to get the entire lineup of cars electrified.

I'm thankful that Elon Musk exists and that SpaceX and Tesla haven't gone bankrupt yet, because the longer those companies keeps going the more chance there is that Elon Musk's companies or other companies will do the key things that make the world a much better place.

Happy Thanksgiving, llninja!

I'm thankful for the food on my table, the job that pays the bills and supports my family, and the car allowance that enabled me to FINALLY own a Volt!

And, for the fact that I was able to show off my car to my in-laws yesterday since we hosted dinner. Strong conservatives, like me, but very interested, and impressed, with my car!

I am Thankful for many things; but mostly for my Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ, my family, my wonderful wife is my best friend, and my two joyful daughters. There are so many things I could complain about...but you asked what are we "Thankful" for. I am also Thankful for having a really good grasp of the true history of Thanksgiving going all the way back to William Bradford, to Washington, to Abe Lincoln to 1941. We have sure gotten away from its meaning when we call it "Happy Turkey Day" Washington asked us as a nation to be Thankful to God by giving Him our Thanks, and Prayers, and to ask for forgiveness when we do fail Him. :)

Here today is just 'Friday', but if I can be thankful too, it might be for my peaceful country and all our recent immigrants. They help us see the wider world as it is, and their enthusiasm for their new home is infectious.

Agreed in the historical and religious fronts. I'm amazed at how many people I have to reel in away from NFL football, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday which have encroached on Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for the light at the end of the California city smog tunnel from the electrification of cars - there seems to be a definite timetable in the next decade or so to get our cities cleaner before they become like Beijing!

Well, there was a light before the resurgence of coal.
