Gull Wing Doors, next possible recall?

Could be nothing, could be everything if Tesla Motors hides it but still documents it.

Electromechanical doors are supposed to be able to be opened with the 12v battery cable cut. There is typically a cable you pull to release the door latch. There has been at least 1 death due to a Corvette owner not knowing where the cable is located.

But apparently a Tesla Model X owner has found out the emergency release does not work:

This is normally a recall level event since it's safety equipment.

Do you have a short position in the Stock?
I don't even gamble when I visit Las Vegas. :D But there is some TSLA in my investments. I do not consider it a gamble in the long term. And I reserved a Model 3 I don't need. It will be used for racing.

I was trapped in our Corvette when the electromechanical door latch failed. That's how I know about the issue and fatality.
PS - An emergency release cable is not a replacement for a seatbelt cutter/window hammer. You need both. The cable is a much cheaper way to egress or rescue.
