So I noticed that a little chunk of paint chipped off the edge of the door on the Bolt. Greeeat.
Can someone recommend something I can use to apply to that area so it gets sealed off and doesn't become a bigger problem down the road? Thanks!

Get some touch up paint at the dealer, they will have an exact color match.

When I bought my Volt, the dealer applied (for a fee) a tough 3M clear film over the front of the hood, door edges, and several other areas. 4 years later the film is still there and looking just as good as when it was put on.

I had a small ding in my door that I had repaired using a service that uses a painless dent repair. They are able to push the dent back out of the door using tools that look like rods. I believe it can only be used on small dings. The small ding I had cost me $100.

Those paintless dent repair guys perform miracles. I had one fix a dent on a crease on a VW door and if you didn't know where it was, you'd have a hard time finding the repair.

They may be using very strong magnets rods to flatten the area

Wont work on the Bolt. It's aluminum like Model S.

The Dealer will sell touch up paint. So will online places like AutomotiveTouchup .com Paint pens, paint bottles, spray.

My Bolt's door edges have a clear bra on them to prevent nicks. Als my hood, bumper, headlights, A pillars, roof edge. Basically the places that face the wind and tend to get chipped or nicked.
