Hi Everyone,

How long after the dealership has performed a recall on my volt will it disappear from my check for recall status. When I check for recalls it still shows it has not been completed, yet it was performed almost a week ago.

It should be gone by now, but some dealerships don't update nightly. Give it until the end of the month and if it's still there the first week of September contact the dealership if it really bothers you. Otherwise keep the paperwork and ignore it.

Its not up to the dealership, its GM not changing the status. The dealership will send in the claim to GM within a day or two since they want to get paid. Then its up to GM to close out any paperwork on there side.

I had my dealership mention a recall, which they performed (a/c thingy I think), but GM never mentioned it!!
