HydroQuebec and University of Texas suing A123 for importation of phosphate containing batteries in the US...

Would that confirm Volt is a vaporware? Has GM the answer? the Volt to be sold only in China ?
According to Valence Tehcnologies Q-10 report in the beginning of 2008, these two patents are under reexamination. Valence is also being sued. The USPTO trade office is saying that they have serious problems with the patent. There is a comment on your link that has the full language. I tried pasting it here, but was having problems.

yep, but:
- main HQ patent reinforced in US on Dec26, 2007 by USPTO
- HQ vs A123 in Court of Texas to restart soon very probably (Decision pending to USPTO conclusions).

then:
- Volt is a vaporware,
- GM has selected CPI (unofficially),
- GM settled directly with HQ on phosphates,
- ....
