Does anyone get oil puddled under generator? I'm at dealer now.
Oil puddles under the gas engine? Only if there is a leaky hose, oil change overflow, or some other issue.

It's a typical gasoline engine like any other. Oil should stay on the inside.

I believe oil pan seal leaks were pretty common on some model year Volts.

Oil doesn't belong in a puddle.

The range extender engine is still a fairly normal 1.5L DOHC GM engine very close to a Chevy Cruze (May it also rest in peace) engine or perhaps a non-turbocharged version of a Malibu engine, just one with a specialized RPM control and a specialized transmission for voltec design.
