I had an interesting glitch on my 2017 Volt today. I left my smart phone at home so instead of using Waze I started to use the in-car navigation. I should have immediately known that there was a problem when it told me that my normal 1 hour commute was going to take only 22 minutes.

I then noticed that it kept saying that every road that I was on was an "unknown road". The labels on the map were correct, but it kept saying that I was on an unknown road. Fortunately I need to stop at Starbucks and I hoped that the power off and back on of the car would reset the problem, which it did. After the "reboot" the navigation functioned normally and also started to show the traffic conditions which were missing before.

Anyone else experience something like this?

I don't often use it but it works well enough for my purposes. I have never had a problem like that.

Well, the Inbred Nav has never malfunctiontioned that badly for me, but mine tends to miss the highways and wants to go the slow route. It misses streets that have been there for years and some of the street names are blank.
I only use it as a last shot effort. I'd use it for a door stop but I can't get it out of the car.
