This must be a noob post, but I had no idea the rear-view mirror in the Gen 2 has dual-pivots! I learned of it from the following Volt Vlog:

Also, when I first got my g1, I had trouble getting my mirror in the right position because I'm tall and my head just clears the roofline. I discovered that my mirror was inside down. The sensor belongs on the top and the curved portion belongs on the bottom. So a 180 degree spin was in order. Don't spin it too any times as you will break the wire that goes through the pivot points. It makes it much easier to see though the lower rear window on a g1 (sorry h2 owners lost that little window)

I had no idea either. The arm on mine has been all the way up and I haven't been able to aim the mirror quite high enough. Now I will be able to adjust it properly as it won't be hitting the ceiling anymore. LOL!
