The 1x function of the wiper-speed selection lever, and the washer spray, stopped working. The spray reservoir seems to've been empty before it stopped working. But after refill, no go.

The wiper fuses listed in the user manual, F21 & F23, look OK. A relay K22 for "front washer" is also listed, but I'm unable to find that.

Anyone have experience with a simple, quick owner fix of this problem?

Dealership. Unless you've driven more than 36K miles you're still under the B2B warranty.

My guess is that the multi-function switch that controls those things (the "stalk") is defective and needs to be replaced. It is not a cheap part. I would let a dealer do it under warranty.

Meanwhile, it is not a very critical failure and you can probably live with it until you have another reason to take it in.

I know this post is old but since I have recently run into this problem Ive solved it. There is no K22 The relays in the engine bay box only go up to K15. 16 thru 23 are not there. Dont know why. If your windshield wiper fluid stops working its the f23 fuse in that same box. F21 and F23 have similar descriptions on the fuse list. One is the relay F21 and f23 is the fuse itself. Its 10 amp red. Just had to post this cause I spent all day looking for that K22 and dont want others wasting their time.

Thanks for taking the time to post your solution, someone down the road will find that information very helpful I'm sure.

I wish everyone took the time to the same.

Thank you very very much....also cant find K22 and you save my trip to far Chevrolet service here in Europe. Fuse nr.23 (small red 10A) was really broken! Greetings from Europe (Prague - Czech republic)

I had a similar issue last week, my washer stopped working. I found the fuse blown but even with a new fuse it still doesn't work. The ghost K22 washer pump relay is probably integrated in the box (just speculating). Kudos to Chevy for such clear description of relay locations 😒 Funny thing is I hardly ever use washer in SoCal and it is already broken. Previously my trunk release relay was shot. Talk about GM quality.. Anyways, I can hear something clicking so I guess it is not the relay but I would like to make sure before removing the bumper. If anyone can find the hidden K22 relay let me know.

Just bought a new to me 2018 and was afraid I'd have to take it straight back after the windshield washer wasn't working. Popped out F22 and sure looked blown, swapped in a high beam fuse and confirmed this was my problem. Thanks for posting this!
