I just had a realization the other day about gas prices that made me giggle. In my own cost-benefit analyses, I had been calculating my average cost per ICE mile at about 8 cents US for my 2013 Volt, but because one of the grocery stores I shop at has gas stations and fuel rewards that don't expire, and I go months between top-ups (I try to keep between 1 and 4 gallons of gas in the car at a time) I'm getting my gas about $1.20 cheaper per gallon than everyone else on the rare occasion when I need to add some to the tank. Take that, big oil! lol
